We would recommend Wellhome to anyone. We had a very good experience with them, they are one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. The workers were polite efficent,clean. They made sure that everything was cleaned-up before they left. They showed respect for our home and us. And we can not say enough good about them. "WellHome". Wow! Where do I begin? First off just let me say what a truly amazing company they are! And what an amazing job they did in my home, which was in desperate need of attic insulation, as well as a new furnace. I had three other estimates, all of whom told me that I needed either a New Roof ( which I had purchased years back ) or said they'd get back to me with an estimate and never did because the job was too difficult...having very little attic space to work with. WellHome was the only company willing to do the job, and without hesitation, and not once trying to sell me a new roof.
I was first introduced to Kent Trobaugh, WellHome's Advisor, who spent hours with me discussing my concerns. He was, by far, the most knowledgeable and thorough of any other representitive that I've encountered. He demonstrated where all the problems areas were in my home, and I felt no sales pressure.
Last minute I had to cancel my installation date, so Chris in the office, along with the Installation Crew went out of their way to accommodate me...never seemed to be a problem or inconvenience for them.
The Crew; Jay, Saab, Ryan, Bill, and Billy were all very Professional, Knowledgeable, Friendly, and Considerate. I am in awe as far as how much time and effort they put into this job, and immediately felt a difference in my home upon completion....I couldn't be happier! :) The house is warmer, quieter and not at all drafty, like it was.
Because of their affordable Payment Plan, I was able to have this kind of work done. "Thank You, "WellHome", for making me comfortable in my own home. Kudos to You! :)
Why I hired WellHome: To save on utility bills, and to be more comfortable

After investigating products and installers I knew I couldn't go wrong when WellHome is a division of MASCO company.
WellHome met and exceeded all my expectations. My home is almost 50 years old, so insulaton was a bare minimum.
Not only did the blown-in insulation make a difference in the heat of my home, but also the noise level from outside. Every employee was courtious, careful of my home and as professional as I have ever seen. Kent Trobaugh, as advisor, was more interested in my well-being than the bottom sales line. He was in communication with me throughout the entire process, explaining every aspect of the product and instulation. I couldn't be more satisfied and confident of the finished product.

I went to a few home improvement shows as well searched the yellow pages for companies to improve my home for insulation so I could save some money for the winter ahead. I can honestly tell you just call Well Home and talk to Kent Trobaugh and all your worries will be gone. By far he outclassded every other sales person that came to my home and the pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work done. The crew was neat and clean and at all times they respected my home. Look no further and give Well Home a call. You'll be glad you did.

The personnel from Well Home are all outstanding. Extremely personable, courteous, and thorough in their explanations of their services and one's needs. They are honestly the most trustworthy home services I have ever dealt with. After evaluating my home they recommended insulating my attic. The house is 52 years old and when they took out the old insulation, it just disintegrated. Since the new insulation was blown in a couple of weeks ago, we have the thermostat set 4 degrees higher and the house is cooler and feels

Twenty five years ago we built an energy efficient home, but over the years the efficiency declined. WellHome showed us how we could not only recover that efficiency but increase it. The results were dramatic and immediate. The work was done professionally and on time. Our energy consumption for heating and cooling have been nearly halved. Thanks WellHome!

We were weekly visitors to the construction of our new home. We hired a trusted contractor to review the subdivision contractor, which everyone should do. We thought that we had a well built home.
When you get the new home motivation, you keep up with all of the maintenance. I do not let issues with my home fester and I was keeping up with all of the new home green codes that were being accepted out on the west coast. I tried to find all of the little jobs that I could to seal up from pests and the harsh winters in Michigan.
We went on for several years assuming that we were being green by replacing all the incandescent bulbs with CFLs and fixing door and window sealing issues over time. Then my cousin had WellHome do their audit in 2010 with the BIG energy credit and they had the insulation/sealing, furnace and air conditioner replaced. They used to have a 10 degree temperature difference between floors but not after WellHome.
We had Jon from WellHome come do the audit in early Spring of 2011. I thought that I knew everything about my home but they always say that you learn something new everyday and we really did! The air management of our home from the top to the bottom was reviewed. The temperature gun was most revealing of all the heat loss in the attic and walls.
Jon provided a colorful easy to understand report that summarized the 4 hour assessment that was completed. We reviewed the three packages and the energy savings they would guarantee. What a great no pressure discussion where I felt good about the entire experience.

I have been in the customer service business over 30 years. Never have I seen the the results that I have gotten with this service. My home feels tighter than it felt on the first day that I moved into it. They sealed places in my attic, that I was not even aware of. The effort that Jerry Boyd, the lead Tech, put into sealing my home was genuine. The results speak for it's self. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone that wants a more comfortable home and that is energy conscience. Go GREEN

We had some major conserns because our Master bedroom and master bath in particulate were so cold. After the Well Home crew came in and insulated our crawl space, our bedroom is now nice and cozy. We also felt comfortable using Well Home because they are a MASCO company.

Well Home representatives were very professional and responded to all my questions promptly. I really like the fact that I could have everything done at one time since I was having several installations. Having them coordinate the contractors also saved me the hassle of having to do it.

Very friendly, fast service. Despite the work being done by different teams it was clear they were working from a common information database, which reduced confusion. All team members were courteous and went out of their way to address any concerns I had and answer questions. The only reason that they didn't get a full rating was because they couldn't manage reinstalling the trim on one window completely, after doing the foam insulation, leaving a big gap in one corner. They pointed the problem out to me and we decided to leave it at that for now; I am going to have to get a carpenter in to fix it myself. Otherwise excellent work.

We had Eric and Jay come to our home and do the initial review of our house. They were courteous, and kind to my children and pets. Very nice guys! Eric was our project manager and he patiently explained every thing and did not get riled by the fact that we asked so many questions. We had our attic insulated, the outer walls of our house had blown in insulation, we had them put in a cold air return, glass block windows in our basement and 3 new windows on the main floor of our home. The crews that came in were very CLEAN. The insulation guys cleaned up and vacuumed every thing. They even took a moment to help me locate one of my cats in my house that I worried got out. Very well organized and extremely professional. I would also like to say that Christine, (the lady in the office who called to schedule and check in on the work in progress) was wonderful as well! This company made me feel very comfortable and the whole project went smoothly. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND WELLHOME to My family and friends. Can't even say enough about how wonderful they were! Well Done, WELLHOME!

This is so cool!! You get a written report, pictures from this special tool -- a thermal hand held camera that changes from yellow to purple where your house is losing heat and or letting in air.
I have little house, insulated a lot but knew I had leaks. So now I can focus on sealing all leaks in an efficient way without spending a fortune. Plus, if I don't want or can't do all myself, David will come out and do for me.
So now I can seal up leaks, insulated my attic to keep from losing hot and cold air (in summer, and this in turn will cut my dte bill in half!!!! Or more!! I was suprised how many " leaks" he found, in places I would have never looked or even thought to look.
So money spent today will turn into a very large savings of $150 to $250 a month I dont have to pay to DTE. Call and get an appointment now.

Thirty years ago, I got my energy auditing cerification and did energy audits for the gas company. Although I believe the utilities still do these audits for free, they only involve low cost no cost things a homeowener can do to save money. Well Home takes the process to a igher level. using sophisticated equipment such as a blower door and infrared heat loss sensing camera, all for a hundered bucks, and then they print a very professional looking report. They do this right onsite. They have a computer and printer in their truck. The assessment and report alone is probably worth five or six hundred dollars. You can do the work yourself, but they need to do the work they recommned to make any money. I was easy. I wanted the work done, especially because it included a lot of rebates and tax breaks, but they weren't giving me a hard sell either. There was, however, an incentive to sign up on the day of the audit. By doing so, I got an additional hundred dollar gas card. Once the crew started, my wife and I had some input, and all of our concerns were addressed. I give them a hundred and ten percent, but my wife only gives them only eighty, because she thought they should depart with the home in better homes and gardens condition. I think, for that to have happened, I would have had to pay them twice as much as I did. I'm very happy with teh job they did.

The WellHome staff, from my initial meeting to assessing my home's energy efficiency to installation and work completion, were extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They spent time with me to answer my questions throughout the process.
After the first winter, the energy use of electricity had been significantly reduced. My home is far more comfortable in areas that prior to the installation were very cold during the winter months. No longer are my windows frosted or trapping humidity nor is ice hanging from the eavestrough. These efficiency changes were due to a number of factors: radiant barriers placed in attic areas along interior walls, increased insulation in attic areas, sealing off the attic as well as the basement, sealing of air ducts in the basement and installation of a high efficiency furnace.
The WellHome staff assisted with all rebates and all rebates have been honored and received. The cost, in my opinion, is of great value as I view it as saving over time in energy costs as well as the numerous rebates.
I view this cost as an investment in my home. I also see this as an investment in the future for our planet and our children.

I am very satisfied with WellHome service, products and installation. The WellHome Advisor was professional and knowledgeable. He provided excellent service in a complete check of energy home improvements and presenting and explaining solutions for them. The products offered were of excellent quality... furnace, air conditioner, windows. It was a tremendous help to have the WellHome company find the right companies to perform the work and the service and trustworthiness of the installers was very good. I now am enjoying a higher comfort level of warmth with no drafts and a very quiet furnace. The Advisor was always ready to help with any needs and questions on the improvements and made sure the work was preformed and checked in a timely manner. He was also helpful in explaining information on the rebates I would qualify for. I look forward to energy savings costs as well. I would gladly refer anyone I know looking to improve the comfort and energy savings of their home to WellHome.

Being a Masco employee, I was very interested in the opportunity of WellHome performing an assessment of our home! We built our home 16 years ago and some things were still the "originals". We had the pleasure of Kent Trobaugh at our service! He did a thorough review of our home, top to bottom, inside and out, which of course, I wish we would have engaged in this years ago after he advised us of the results. Needless to say, his news was very interesting and alarming at the same time, but very eye opening and we realized it was time to make some changes. Kent advised that our new windows were good, but we still had some leakage problems. Our original furnace and hot water tank were in need of replacement and additional insulation and sealing were also recommended. Kent did an outstanding job addressing each issue at length, answering our questions, and gave us clarity with our options. He was very personal and spent a great deal of time being very thorough. We did not feel any pressure or doubt in his presentation of our results and recommendations. Kent is a life saver! We are very satisfied with all the work WellHome provided, an efficient and quiet furnace and safe and efficient hot water tank as well as closing the gap on our energy leakage. All their employees were very polite, professional and neat and we felt very comfortable with them in our home. Their work was done in a timely fashion, and always accommodating your schedule. WellHome's various expert services leaves you with complete knowledge of your home's efficiency. Also, I feel that their assessment added value to our home and for the next homeowner, and we have the before and after pictures to prove it! Thank you WellHome, Kent, Christiine and all their fine staff! WellHome, another fine company under the Masco umbrella.

I've had people come out to give estimates on siding, windows, etc. and my experience with those "assessments" was very negative. My history includes waiting for people far past the appointment time, being coerced and/or manipulated to sign contracts before being comfortable with the product, and being spoken to in a condescending manner. I was hesitant to have this energy assessment and was a bit guarded in my expectations.
Mike and Rick came to my home at the scheduled time. They were friendly, professional, on task and informed me what was going on every step of the way. I was comfortable and confident about the work they were doing and appreciated that they included me in their findings. After reviewing the assessment with me, Mike offered me choices, rebates, financing and altered the plan with me according to what I wanted and needed.
This Well Home energy assessment was far above and far beyond good customer service. I find that extremely refreshing.

Their professionalism and knowledge of the building trade, is what got my attention. The inspection was accurate and discovered some real flaws in my home construction. Especially in the area insulation. A recomendation was made to correct the flaws. There were no high pressure sales attemps to sell the service. The cost of the program seemed fair. The men who did the modifications to our home were careful and considerate to our concerns. The work was completed promptly as scheduled. Quality service at a fair price characterizes Wellhome. The results of the project were immediate. We are well pleased with the service.
